The guide to low-STR warriors
Hello! I wrote a guide to a particular MapleStory job, and here’s the catch: it might actually be useful this time!! Please check it out becoz I workt rly hard on it…

An augury
As of this writing, a brand-new MSPS by the name of Fantasia is launching in roughly ≈24 hours. You can find its website — which includes links to its forum & its Discord™® “server”, as well as the ability to sign up for an account — at: fantasia.ms.
Although I’ve plenty of misgivings about Fantasia’s approach, it is basically aiming (somewhat aggressively, I might add) to supplant MapleL5s & MapleR4s, so I’m gonna give it a go. It is, like MapleL5s, notionally based upon GMS v62, but has game-content added from other localisations — plus some slapt-together game “balance” changes, of course.
The main draw, then, is presumably that Fantasia has attempted to eliminate multiclienting (not to say successfully so), as well as, of course, leeching & HP/MP washing. Whether the dev-owner-proprietor-dictators of Fantasia will succeed in actually bringing the MapleStory out in the game (you know what I mean), only time will tell.
I’ve been having a ton of fun playing my RevivalStory characters cervid & unicolor (sorry, euprox…), in addition to, of course, ya girl pudu! And the good news is that, at the very least, I can always play þe ironicall unicolor — so long as RevivalStory is online. But with the sore lack of items, classes, game-content, active players, etc. of RS, and the impulse to abandon MapleL5s entirely, it might be full Fantasia mode for a while.
In the longer distance looms the beguiling finger of MapleGlobal’s Classic World (yes, the official Necks0n™® one). But the next relevant announcement isn’t due for another month or so, so who knows when the server is even gonna be releast, much less what devious tomfoolery Neccsaughn has in mind for it.
As an augur, my powers of divination & prognostication are limited by my mortality. Beyond what I’ve already brought to you, I can tell nothing of what the future holds. So until the future lets go of whatever it is and allows the present to have at it: thank you for reading. I appreciate you.
